BLACK SILICON CARBIDE

Black silicon carbide is produced at high temperature in an electric resistance type furnace with quarts sand and petroleum coke as its main raw materials. Its hardness is between fused alumina and synthetic diamond .Mechanical intensity of it is higher than fused alumina. It is brittle and sharp and has electrical and heat conductivity in some degree. The abrasives made of it are suitable for working on cast iron, nonferrous metal, rock, leather, rubber, etc. It is also broadly used as refractory material and metallurgical additive.
GREEN SILICON CARBIDE

Green silicon carbide is produced basically in the same way of black silicon carbide except the different requirement of raw materials. Its crystallization has higher purity and hardness. Green silicon carbide is suitable for processing hard alloy, metallic and nonmetallic materials with hard and brittle feature such as copper, brass, aluminum, jewel, optical glass, ceramics, etc. Super micro powder of it is also a kind of ceramics material .

WHITE FUSED ALUMINIUM OXIDE

Brown fused alumina is fused and crystallized under high temperature from a mixture of bauxite and other raw material. It is characterized by its high hardness, good toughness and sharp sharpen size. Abrasives tools made of it are suitable for grinding metals of hightensile strength such as carbon steel, generalpurpose alloy steel, annealed malleable iron and hard bronze, etc. It also can be used as refractory materials.
